Στηρίζουμε τους πλημμυροπαθείς της Θεσσαλίας

The Thessalon Federation of Ontario is a non-profit cultural organization based in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
We were devastated upon hearing the news of the Mediterranean hurricane striking parts of Thessalia, Greece. Specifically the cities of Karditsa and Farsala.
The destruction and desolation is evident in the photos, the cry of desperation is seen in their eyes and felt deeply in our hearts. Their journey to recovery will be a very long and hard road. Our countrymen have been left with nothing. Their homes gone, their livelihood gone and their hopes for a brighter tomorrow taken away by the flood.
The funds that we raise will be filtered through the Red Cross Society based in Athens, Greece and a couple of the ground based nonprofit organizations helping in the area.
Our goal is $20,000 (CDN).
