Canadian Hellenic Medical Society Celebrates Hippocratic Week 2025 with Special Events in Canada

The Canadian Hellenic Medical Society (CHMS) is proud to join the global medical community in celebrating Hippocratic Week 2025, an international initiative established by the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute to honour the timeless values of Hippocrates.

In recognition of this occasion, CHMS will host two events:

“The Art of Healing: Hippocratic Values in a High-Tech World” – an online lecture with Dr. Nikos Kastanos, Founder and President of the Hippocratic Movement, live from Barcelona. (Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 8:00 AM EST)

CHMS Social Event in Honour of Hippocratic Week – a community gathering at Mezes Restaurant in Toronto celebrating shared heritage, mentorship, and connection. (Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST)

Hippocratic Week serves as a reminder that medicine is not only a science but also a philosophy rooted in ethics, compassion, and humanism. Through these events, CHMS continues its mission to connect Hellenic medical professionals in Canada while honouring the enduring legacy of Hippocrates.
