The Toronto SketchComedy Festival is Canada’s preeminent comedy festival focusing on scripted,ensemble work.

Each year,TOsketchfest takes over the city for 12 days of performances, parties andprofessional development. Audiences will see some of the best comedy troupesaround and performers have access to great networking and learningopportunities.

The 14th AnnualTOsketchfest will feature Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live), ScottThompson (The Kids in the Hall, Hannibal) in The Buddy Cole MonologuesAdam Ruins EverythingK Trevor WilsonThe Grawlix and APTN’s The Laughing Drum Live at The Great Hall.

TOsketchfest has alsopartnered with The Streetcar Crowsnest for four marquee shows including Flo & JoanThe Lusty MannequinsGenerally Hospital and A Sketch Comedy Extravaganza Eleganza.

Additional highlightsfrom TOsketchfest19 include: full length revues from comedy duo Soul Decision featuring Christian Smith (The Second CityTourCo) and Kevin Vidal (Come From Away), Middle Raged! By Geri Hall (This Hour has 22 Minutes) andGary Pearson (MadTV); and Diamond Heist by Sex T-Rex; a live recording of the hilarious podcast My Gorgeous Son by Mark Little and Andy Bush (Cavendish);the return of The Flirty Boyswith Ann Pornel (She the People),Alessandra Vite (CBC Comedy), Allison Hogg (This Hour Has 22 Minutes)and Ali Wylie (The Sketchersons); and The Tita Collective, an all Filipina comedy collective fromToronto.

The TOsketchfest Film Festival is back for a third year with a curatedselection of the funniest comedy shorts made in the last two years. Featuringshorts from new and established filmmakers and TOsketchfest alumni, theTOsketchfest Film Festival spotlights the best in on-screen sketch comedy.

TOsketchfest willwelcome dozens of acts from cities across North America and beyond includingMontréal, Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, New York, Philadelphia and London.Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming weeks!
