Hellenic Heritage Foundation 25th Annual fundraising Gala

On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, the Hellenic Heritage Foundation (HHF) hosted its 25th Annual fundraising Gala, aptly named – the Blue & White Ball.  With close to 1,000 guests in attendance once again this year, the event attracted a number of special guests including the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford; Canadian Senator, Leo Housakos; the Consul General of Greece in Toronto, Panagiotis Antonatos; Member of Parliament, Franceso Sorbara; MPP and past President of the HHF, Effie Triantafilopoulos; MPP Rudy Cuzzetto; and MPP Aris Babikian.

While we wait for a final tally to be calculated, the event was an incredible success and was highlighted by the attendance of so many young leaders who joined in on this year’s festivities including Master of Ceremonies, Maria Papadakis - on-air personality and digital content producer – Maria Papadakis.

An energetic, enthusiastic and show-stopping performance was provided by our featured entertainer – Helena Paparizou, who opened her set by congratulating the HHF and every attendee for their impressive and collective efforts to preserve and sustain Hellenism abroad.

It was also a pleasure to recognize this year’s deserving HHF Award recipients – Mr. John Fanaras, Dr. John Mylopoulos and Dr. Christos Papadopoulos.
 
A very special thank you to all our Members, Directors, Donors, Event Sponsors and Volunteers for allowing us the opportunity to host this important fundraising event each year and for allowing us to continue our mission to preserve, promote and advance Hellenism in Canada.

Net proceeds raised from this year's Gala will provide essential funding, resources, and support to the many community organizations, projects, programs and initiatives we help fund throughout the year.
