John Tory issued the following statement on Canada Day

Wishing residents across our city a very happy #CanadaDay. I say this often, because it’s true. We are so lucky to live in what I believe to be the greatest city, in the greatest country in the world.

The Canadian flag was raised at Coronation Park today to celebrate #CanadaDay2020 and the 40th anniversary of the national anthem. Now more than ever, we need a reason to celebrate. Wherever you are in the city today, I hope you will wave your Canadian flag proudly!
