Ontario Premier Doug Ford commemorates the bicentennial celebration of Greek Independence Day on March 25th

Friends, I would Like to wish Ontario’s Hellenic Community a Happy Independence Day as you celebrate 200 years of Greek Independence.

Ontario is proud to be home to a thriving Greek Community which happens to be the largest in Canada. This is why in 2019 Our Government recognized March as Hellenic Heritage month. I would also like to take a moment to recognize all their contributions and thank Ontario’s Greek Community for stepping up in view of the pandemic with a true Ontario spirit.
